The last Sunday before Christmas brought sunshine to the city of Serres and its surrounding areas after a snowfall the previous day. Traffic is operating smoothly on national and provincial roads, with the civil protection mechanism on alert. According to Deputy Head of Civil Protection Kostas Argyrios, snowplows will be deployed to assist drivers on the roads towards Ano Vrontou and Lailia.
