A man in his sixties has been placed in provisional detention in connection with two unsolved murders dating back to the 1980s and 2000 in Isère. He is suspected of involvement in the murders of Leïla Afif, killed in 2000, and Nathalie Boyer, whose body was discovered in 1988. The suspect was identified through DNA and has been formally charged with both homicides as investigations into these ‘cold cases’ continue.
