Switzerland Implements National Strategy to Combat Organized Crime

Swiss Federal Councillor Beat Jans has tasked the Federal Office of Police (Fedpol) with developing a national strategy to combat organized crime. The initiative involves collaboration with the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office, cantonal justice and police directors, and other authorities. The strategy aims to enhance public safety, support victims, and address threats from international criminal networks that exploit Switzerland’s geographic advantages and robust financial infrastructure.
