A teenage boy has been referred to a Garda Juvenile Liaison Officer after his arrest for allegedly assaulting another youth in Knocknacarra, Galway, on Halloween night. Gardaí intervened when they received reports of an injured teenager, finding a knife at the scene. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released. Additionally, police are investigating a separate incident on the same night where a teenage girl sustained serious injuries from fireworks.
