A new telephone scam targeting a woman in Chios, Greece, was uncovered by the local Directorate for the Investigation and Resolution of Crimes. The incident, which occurred two weeks ago, involved a person impersonating a hospital doctor to extract €9,000. Authorities identified two suspects, aged 53 and 48, who are now facing charges. This incident follows a similar case that ended positively for the victim when the culprits were apprehended.
