The theatrical production ‘The Dream of Ionia’ continues its journey in Thessaloniki at the Metropolitan: The Urban Theater, running from December 19 to 29. Based on over 20 soldiers’ diaries from the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922), the play, written by Antonis Kyriakakis and directed by Kyriakakis and Giorgos Paterakis, explores the historical events through the eyes of ordinary soldiers, revealing the profound impact of the war on their lives and the nation.
