An interactive event titled ‘The Importance of Attire in Building the National Consciousness of the Modern Greek State’ will take place on January 3, 2025, organized by the Foundation of the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle and the Papageorgiou Foundation. It features the exhibition ‘Attire of the Soul’ by artists Vangelis Kyris and Anatoli Georgiev, running until January 6 in Thessaloniki. Professor Stavroula Mavrogeni will explore the significance of clothing as a means of communication and identity in the new Greek state, using exhibits and live models to showcase traditional Macedonian attire.
