A new theatrical production titled ‘Το Τενεκεδένιο Σχολείο’ brings to life the story of refugee children from Ionia who established the first refugee school in Thessaloniki in 1923. Directed by Margarita Nasioula, the play is inspired by true historical events and features original music and traditional songs. It is suitable for all ages, with performances tailored for families and general audiences, capturing the spirit of resilience and solidarity among the refugee community.
