A recent study by the University of Zurich reveals that artificial intelligence (AI) has rapidly integrated into daily life for many Swiss residents, with 54% reportedly using AI tools like ChatGPT. Younger and better-educated individuals are more inclined to embrace AI, while concerns about digital inequality and privacy persist. Although nearly half of the population hasn’t used AI tools, the majority perceive more benefits than risks. The study highlights a noteworthy divide in attitudes based on age and education levels, suggesting a growing digital divide in Switzerland.
