The Vasari Corridor Reopens to the Public in Florence After Extensive Renovation
The Vasari Corridor, a historic passageway in Florence spanning the Arno River, reopens to the public on December 21 after eight years of closure. Originally constructed for the Medici family’s secret crossings, the corridor underwent significant renovations costing approximately 10 million euros. Visitors can now reserve tickets to enjoy a panoramic walk connecting the Uffizi Gallery to the Boboli Gardens and Pitti Palace, with views of Florence’s UNESCO World Heritage site.
