Mayor Stelios Angeloudis emphasized the urgency for quick processes to expedite fund disbursements for repairs and tree removal, particularly with the holiday season approaching. Approximately ten claims for compensation have already been filed by car owners whose vehicles were damaged by falling trees. The declaration aims to streamline bureaucratic procedures for restoration efforts.
