The Municipality of Thessaloniki has announced a special initiative for the collection and recycling of natural Christmas trees to protect the environment and optimize natural resources. Citizens are encouraged to contact the Municipality’s call center to arrange for tree pickup, which will be processed by the city’s cleaning services. The collected trees will be transported to special facilities for recycling by the relevant municipal services.
