Thessaloniki’s Christmas Tree and Festivities Awaited on November 30

A 20-meter tall Christmas tree has been set up in Aristotelous Square, Thessaloniki, marking the start of festive celebrations on November 30. The lighting ceremony will coincide with the launch of metro services, a large concert, and street festivities known as ‘white night’ featuring local merchants keeping stores open late. A Christmas village organized by the Thessaloniki Commercial Association will begin in early December, selling sweets, ornaments, and gifts, with local artists scheduled to perform in the square.
