In Thessaloniki, over 1,000 educational visits were conducted as part of the groundbreaking program ‘Wastewater Management with… Fats?’ by EYAΘ. Launched a year ago, the initiative aims to educate local businesses on preventing grease buildup in the wastewater system. Key achievements include the installation of 98 grease traps and participation from 300 businesses. EYAΘ will host an online review on November 11 to assess the program’s impact and address queries. This pro-active approach benefits local entrepreneurs and enhances the community’s environmental health, particularly the Thermaic Gulf.
