Thessaloniki’s OASTH to Phase Out Old Ticket Machines by November
Thessaloniki’s public bus operator, OASTH, is gradually removing old ticket machines from its buses, requiring passengers to purchase tickets before boarding. By the end of November, new generation machines will be installed, accepting only card payments. Passengers without cards can pay cash at scattered city machines. Until the installation is complete, failure to present a valid ticket can result in a fine of €57, which increases if unpaid. The initiative is managed by OSETH.
