The Thessaly Region has announced a 50% funding initiative for monthly or annual unlimited transportation cards for students studying in Larissa. Regional Governor Dimitris Koureta confirmed the funding, which aims to assist families, especially during challenging times. Koureta expressed that this initiative has been a long-time goal, dating back to his previous role as Deputy Rector. A relevant contractual agreement between the region and the Larissa Public Transport Company will be signed soon.
