Thirteen Migrants Rescued After Boat Grounds Near Crete

A wooden boat carrying 13 migrants ran aground near the Arvi beach in Viannos municipality during the night. The migrants, all Egyptian nationals including a minor, swam to shore and were later apprehended by local authorities. They were found in good health and are now set to be temporarily housed at a facility in Heraklion while the coast guard completes their registration process.
