Thousands in Loire-Atlantique and Vendée Face Delays in Daily Allowances Due to Software Issues
Since October, thousands of sick individuals in Loire-Atlantique and Vendée have been left without daily allowances from Social Security due to a malfunctioning software, Arpège. Over 8,000 beneficiaries have reported irregular payments, with some receiving as little as €0 in October. This situation has led to financial distress, as affected individuals struggle to pay bills and receive social assistance. Unions are calling for the software’s suspension while the government aims to resolve the issues swiftly, despite plans for a national rollout still in place.
