On Monday afternoon, three men were arrested in the Apokoronas area by police from the Chania Police Operations Department, facing charges related to drug legislation. The police conducted a vehicle check on two locals and subsequently searched their residences, seizing over 52 grams of cannabis, a blank-firing pistol, ammunition, and other weapon components. Another individual found at the scene was also arrested for possession of a small amount of cocaine. The investigation continues by the Chania Crime Investigation Unit.
