Three-Hour Strike Planned by Rail Workers in Greece
On Friday, December 20, 2024, Greek railway unions SEΠ and ΠΕΠ ΤΡΑΙΝΟΣΕ will conduct a three-hour strike from noon to 3 PM, with a gathering outside Hellenic Train’s headquarters. They demand better working conditions, including safety for passengers and employees, repairs of facilities, and adequate staffing. Despite the strike, essential services will be maintained, with certain routes, including Athens-Thessaloniki, operating normally, although some other journeys will be canceled.
