A suspected gas explosion in Whitehaven, Cumbria, has left three individuals seriously injured. Emergency services, including Cumbria Fire and Rescue and the North West Ambulance Service, responded to the incident on Hugh Street at around 16:23 GMT. Two men and a woman were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Engineers from Northern Gas Networks are also on site to investigate the incident.
