In October 2024, Turkish tourists were the largest group of foreign visitors in North Macedonia, accounting for nearly 30% of all international tourists. The capital, Skopje, attracted the most visitors, totaling over 41,000 tourists. Overall tourist numbers rose significantly compared to the previous year, indicating a growing interest in the region. With 1.1 million tourists recorded from January to October 2024, North Macedonia continues to see a steady increase in tourism activity.
