A review event took place in Corfu today, focusing on the tourism overview for the year 2024 and the challenges anticipated for 2025. Representatives from various tourism organizations, Ionian University, Fraport, and Marketing Greece participated. Dimitris Diavatis, President of Corfu Travel Agents, stated that the island reached nearly three million tourists this year, yet noted a decrease in tourism revenue and overnight stays in the first three quarters. He emphasized the need for quality services and unique local products to enhance revenue and called for an extended tourist season beyond July and August.
