A horrific incident in New Orleans resulted in the deaths of ten individuals and injuries to 35 others when a man drove a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street, subsequently opening fire on bystanders. Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick described the assailant’s intent as ‘hell-bent on creating the carnage.’ The FBI is investigating the scene, where an improvised explosive device was also discovered.
