A tragic incident occurred on a ferry traveling from Ancona, Italy, to Igoumenitsa, Greece, when an Italian man lost consciousness during the journey and succumbed despite resuscitation efforts. A doctor on board provided initial aid, but due to adverse weather conditions in the Adriatic, the ferry could not return to Ancona and continued to Igoumenitsa, arriving Saturday night. The man’s body will be sent to Ioannina for autopsy, while the Central Port Authority of Igoumenitsa is investigating the case.
