In a bid to enhance urban greenery, a new initiative in Larissa is set to convert an eight-acre space into a vibrant green area. Led by the Larissa Municipality and supported by ‘Aegaean Motorway S.A.’ and volunteers, the project aims to plant 150 trees, including plane trees, linden, and maples, all benefiting from a modern irrigation system. This effort not only contributes to a more sustainable future for the city but is part of a broader plan to plant 1,500 new trees, fostering environmental awareness and community collaboration.
