Trevi Fountain Reopens with New Visitor Limits in Rome
The iconic Trevi Fountain in Rome, renowned from Federico Fellini’s film ‘La Dolce Vita’, has reopened following weeks of cleaning. Mayor Roberto Gualtieri announced that visitor numbers will now be capped at 400 at a time to enhance the experience and reduce crowding. The municipality may also introduce a small entrance fee to aid maintenance efforts. Claudio Parisi Presicce noted that extensive restoration work was completed ahead of the upcoming Catholic Jubilee beginning on December 24.
