A commemorative event honoring the acclaimed writer Kostas Varnalis will take place on December 9 at 7 PM in the ‘G. Kaftantzis’ amphitheater. Organized by the Friends of Letters and Arts Society of Serres and the Central Public Library, the event will feature discussions on Varnalis’s life and work by Christina Papadimitriou, and readings of his poetry by actor Pantelis Papadopoulos. The evening will conclude with musical performances inspired by Varnalis’s poetry.
