A tribute event honoring volunteers for their bravery during the catastrophic flooding caused by Storm Daniel in September 2023 was held in Thessaly, Greece. Dedicated to the late Konstantinos Tasiopoulos, the event featured a video showcasing his heroic efforts. Thessaly regional governor Dimitris Kouretas recognized volunteers and appointed Antigoni Drisbioti as the new ambassador for volunteerism.
