A 46-year-old Turkish man wanted by Turkish authorities for participation in a criminal organization and drug trafficking was arrested in Thessaloniki. He had been residing in Greece with a temporary residence permit as an asylum seeker. Detected by law enforcement, it was revealed that he was subject to an INTERPOL red notice. He has been released under restrictive conditions while the relevant council deliberates on Turkey’s extradition request.
