Turkish Intelligence Targets Weapons Taken by Kurdish YPG in Northeastern Syria

The Turkish intelligence agency MIT has focused on munitions and weaponry reportedly acquired by the Kurdish militia YPG from the Syrian government forces in Qamishli, near the Turkish border. Turkish media report that twelve trucks carrying missiles and heavy weaponry were involved, alongside two tanks and two ammunition depots. Kurdish sources’ claims of an Israeli airstrike targeting the Qamishli airport have been denied by Turkish sources. Meanwhile, reports indicate Israeli aircraft attacked several Syrian military airbases housing helicopters and military jets.
