Zambian police have arrested two individuals, Jasten Mabulesse Candunde and Leonard Phiri, for allegedly attempting to bewitch President Hakainde Hichilema using charms. The suspects were reportedly hired by Nelson Banda, who is on the run, linked to political controversy following the arrest of his brother, MP Emmanuel “Jay Jay” Banda. The suspects face charges under Zambia’s Witchcraft Act and were found with various charms, including a live chameleon. They were promised over 2 million Zambian kwacha for their mission and are expected to appear in court soon.
