Two cases of tuberculosis have been detected in a kindergarten in Libourne, Gironde, as reported by France Bleu Gironde. A screening for students, teachers, and staff will be conducted. The affected children are from the same family and are now isolated and no longer pose a risk to their school. The ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine highlights that very young children are at higher risk for this infectious disease, which is commonly pulmonary and contagious.
