Two 45-year-old Albanian criminals have escaped from the agricultural prison in Kassaveteia, Volos, Greece, during a moment of opportunity while working in the unguarded livestock area. The prison authorities launched an immediate alert after they failed to return to their cells. The escapees are serving 20-year sentences for serious offenses including murder, robbery, and drug trafficking. Simultaneously, a major burglary occurred in Agia Paraskevi, where thieves stole €100,000 in cash and valuable items, totaling around €30,000 in worth.
