Two earthquakes measuring 2.3 and 2.8 on the Richter scale occurred within two hours in Agia Paraskevi, creating alarm among residents in Attica. The first quake was registered at 17:10, with an epicenter near Chalandri at a depth of 8.7 km. The second quake followed at 19:29 with a depth of 3 km. Officials, including Vasilis Karastathis from the Geodynamic Institute, reassured the public that there is no cause for concern, while fellow expert Efthymios Lekkas acknowledged the noticeable impact due to the urban location.
