Two major UK clubs, Drumsheds in London and Warehouse Project in Manchester, will introduce onsite drug testing in collaboration with the charity The Loop. This initiative aims to identify dangerous substances and provide real-time safety warnings to clubbers. With government approval, The Loop, which typically tests at festivals, will now monitor trends in the drug market year-round, offering insights into increasingly potent drugs. The testing, conducted privately, seeks to educate users on risks while promoting harm reduction strategies, reflecting a growing acceptance of drug testing by event organizers and authorities.
