UK Considers Deploying Troops to Train Ukrainian Forces Amid Ongoing Conflict
The UK is exploring the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine to support their military training efforts, according to Defence Secretary John Healey, who visited Kyiv to discuss additional support measures. This would build on existing training provided within the UK and by British Army medics in Ukraine. Healey announced a £225 million military aid package, aimed at enhancing Ukraine’s defense capabilities. He emphasized the importance of training, weapons support, and ensuring Ukraine remains strong amid Russian aggression, alongside discussions with NATO and EU representatives.
