UK Introduces Electronic Travel Authorization for International Travelers
The United Kingdom has implemented new travel regulations requiring travelers from nearly fifty countries, including the US and Canada, to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before entering the country. Starting from today, this requirement will extend to European travelers, including those from the Netherlands, by April. The ETA, which costs £10 and is valid for two years, aims to enhance border security. Exemptions apply for individuals with existing visas or residency statuses.
