The UK Ministry of Defence has announced the successful testing of a new Radio Frequency Directed Energy Weapon (RFDEW) by British soldiers. This innovative weapon can neutralize swarms of drones using radio waves at a cost lower than a typical snack. Capable of targeting threats on land, in the air, and at sea, the RFDEW offers an economical alternative to traditional missile defense systems, engaging targets up to 1 km away. The project, led by Thales UK, supports advanced job creation within the UK.
