The UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) has initiated a week-long war-gaming exercise to assess the country’s readiness for major conflicts. Involving military officials and industry representatives, the exercise aims to test the supply of ammunition and equipment under various wartime scenarios. Defence Secretary John Healey emphasized the need for innovation and resilience in supply chains, particularly in light of lessons learned from ongoing conflicts such as the war in Ukraine, which exposed significant vulnerabilities in European defense capabilities.
