UK to Follow US in Allowing Ukraine to Use Long-Range Missiles Against Russia
The United Kingdom is set to approve Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles against Russia, following similar decisions from the United States. Conservative shadow defense minister James Cartlidge expressed hopes that the UK government will align with the US decision. Prime Minister Keir Starmer had previously broached the topic with President Joe Biden during a visit but received no agreement. Starmer emphasized the need to increase support for Ukraine and confirmed he would not engage with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
