UK Women File Legal Action Against Johnson & Johnson Over Talc Cancer Claims

A significant group of women in the UK, led by cancer patients and survivors, are launching a legal action against Johnson & Johnson. The case alleges that the company’s talcum powder is linked to cancer, specifically ovarian cancer, due to historical contamination with asbestos. With around 1,900 claimants, this proposed litigation would represent the largest pharmaceutical product group action in English and Welsh legal history. As the case unfolds, J&J continues to deny the allegations, asserting its products’ safety.
