Ukrainian Forces Capture North Korean Soldier Amidst Ongoing Conflict
Ukrainian special forces have captured a North Korean soldier, marking the first known case since reports emerged of North Korean military personnel supporting Russian forces. The South Korean intelligence service confirmed that the soldier was injured during combat. Kyiv estimates that around 12,000 North Korean troops, including high-ranking officers, have been deployed to Russia. The involvement of these troops has been deemed not significantly impactful by Ukrainian military officials.
