Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a funding increase for drone production aimed at strengthening the country’s armed forces. In a recent video address, he stated that initial funding was insufficient and instructed the Prime Minister to significantly raise the budget in the coming days. This decision comes as part of a broader strategy to enhance drone capabilities in response to the ongoing conflict with Russian forces, which began over 33 months ago. Zelensky had previously signed a contract for the production of 1.5 million drones this year, with plans to scale up to four million annually.
