Ukrainian Security Service Accuses Russian Colonel Alexey Kim of Ordering Deadly Missile Strike
The Security Service of Ukraine has accused Colonel Alexey Kim, deputy chief of the Russian General Staff, of ordering a missile attack on the Sapphire hotel in Kramatorsk on August 24, which resulted in the death of Reuters security advisor Ryan Evans and injuries to two journalists. The attack, carried out with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, targeted a civilian location, leading to severe repercussions. The Ukrainian agency has not provided further evidence but classified Kim as a suspect for aggressive warfare and violations of war laws.
