A Ukrainian court has sentenced a Kyiv resident to 14 years in prison for high treason after she wrote a letter supporting Russia’s invasion to the country’s UN ambassador, Vasily Nebenzya. The prosecution stated that her letter contributed to justifying the full-scale invasion, which began on February 24, 2022. Ukrainian authorities have charged numerous individuals for collaborating with Russia since the invasion, mainly targeting those providing military information or working with occupying forces.
