A horse named Rufio, which broke free from a racecourse in Musselburgh, was seen galloping through the streets of Prestonpans, approximately two miles away. The incident occurred when the 10-year-old gelding unseated jockey Lucy Brown during a race. Luckily, Rufio was captured and returned to safety by a local resident, with officials describing the event as ‘extremely rare’.
