In August, a severe storm wreaked havoc in Brienz, with over 50,000 cubic meters of debris flooding homes, including that of guitar maker René Reusser. Four months later, as the family begins to regain normalcy, they reflect on the overwhelming support received from friends, neighbors, and even strangers. Notably, Reusser received tools from the widow of a fellow guitar maker, which has helped him restart his work.
