Two Democratic U.S. senators have formally requested an extensive investigation by the Pentagon and law enforcement into billionaire Elon Musk’s alleged communications with Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin. Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Jack Reed expressed concerns that such ties could undermine Musk’s credibility as a government contractor.
