Despite the Utrecht municipality’s request to avoid a demonstration, various student organizations have mobilized for a protest against significant education funding cuts. Key demands include the reversal of a €1 billion higher education budget cut and the repeal of penalties for extended study. Concurrently, smaller protests are planned across several student cities.
